Andrew Neu is a renowned New York based saxophonist who will bring a stellar line up of 18 of some of the finest first call musicians from the tri-state area when he takes the stage on June 7 for this free outdoor event. This concert will act a springboard for the 2024 Concert on the Beach series that was recognized in 2023 by USA Today as the best outdoor concert venue in the United States.

DESCRIPTION:Somers Point’s Down to Earth Garden Tour: showcasing private and public gardens while featuring our market\, music\, and art . What could be better? Did someone say “Small town Charm”? \nThe Green Thumb Garden Club is sponsoring this Garden Tour on June 22nd from 10am to 3pm throughout Somers Point. It is a rain or shine event. We would like  to sell  the $15 tickets on that day at the Somers Mansion adjacent to the front of the garden. We’ll also sell advance tickets at Bob’s & Lang’s Garden markets. \nBut this is not just your grandma’s tour…. \nWe will also have a bee hive display (thanks to  Busy Bees NJ) and a jazz trio ( thanks Nick Regine)  from 11am to 1pm next to us.  Hopefully the weather will allow for the music & market. We will need to use electric for the musicians – we thought the outlet on the side wall of the shed is perfect. \nAdditionally\, we have collaborated with our SP Arts Commission will have an exhibit of flower inspired student art at the Senior & Community center through the day. \nLet’s kick off this summer celebrating our city in style. We hope this location is approved and much appreciate your continued support.
