DESCRIPTION:The Somers Point Historical Society and the Somers Point Volunteer Fire Company #1 will co-sponsor a Beef and Beer on Sunday\, March 10. The event will take place at DiOrio’s Circle Café on MacArthur Boulevard in Somers Point from 4-7 p.m. The menu will include caesar salad\, appetizer meatballs\, wings and tenders\, pasta with broccoli with white wine sauce\, wine\, domestic beer\, and sodas. \nThe cost is $25 per person for adults and $10 for children. There will also be Chinese auction baskets\, and a 50/50 raffle. Tickets are available for purchase in advance by calling the Somers Point Historical Society at 609-927-2900. The Somers Point Historical Museum\, located at 745 Shore Road\, will be open on March 9 from 5-7 p.m. to purchase tickets directly. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door to benefit the Fire Company.
