DESCRIPTION:Mark Rust\, a multi-talented family performer from Woodstock NY\, will perform a show for the entire family at William Morrow Beach\, Bay Ave\, Somers Point on Monday\, August 7th\, at 6:30pm. If inside\, the show will be at the Youth Center on Marks Rd. \nMark’s show features fun sing alongs on a variety of instruments including guitar\, banjo\, fiddle\, and hammered dulcimer. In addition\, everyone will learn to play the spoons\, and will participate in a couple traditional American country dances for all ages that require no experience. Afterward\, everyone can try playing all Mark’s instruments. \nMark starred in the Broadway Musical Hit Pump Boys & Dinettes\, and has appeared in People Magazine performing with Pete Seeger and Peter\, Paul & Mary. He has released several recordings including “Songs of America” on Golden Books\, and can be seen playing music in the recent Terrence Malick film “The Better Angels” about Abraham Lincoln’s boyhood years. Mark has been nominated for a Campus Entertainer of the Year Award in Family Programs by the National Association of Campus Activities (NACA).

The band is getting ready to perform major festivals along the East Coast\, performing high energy Mambo and Latin Jazz. \nEdgardo has put together some amazing bands\, Tiempo Noventa in the 80 and the 90\, In 2001 Edgardo put together High-powered Band\, Cintron\, the band performed for over 22 years\, Performing festivals all around the country and the Caribbean. One of the hit songs recorded by Cintron was called Suavecito on the universal Record label\, to this day Suavecito video filmed in Florida has 1.2 million views on YouTube\, \nEdgardo and the band are looking forward performing and seeing all the fans at the Somers Point Beach Concert June 14th. It is going to be an amazing night of music.
