See and get to hold some of the equipment we use. We will have live demonstrations of the Jaws of Life on two cars. Get your chance to use a real fire hose. Always a fun night! DESCRIPTION:Looking forward to Rocktoberfest weekend including the Friday night concert at the Somers Point VFW 500 Bethel Road\, presented by Tony Mart Cares and the volunteers of the Beach Concert Committee at the request of your city leaders including Councilman Rick DePamphilis\, Mayor Jack Glasser and City Council President Janice Johnston.\nThe concert that evening will feature a new show produced by the Danny Eyer Band entitled “McCartney versus Lennon: Jammin’ The Beatles” featuring Rich “Megahurtz” Kurtz as McCartney\, Guy “Ringo“ Merollo and Danny Eyer playing the John Lennon guitar.\nThe doors will open at 6:30 and it is free and open seating with no reservations. The show will start at approximately 7 PM and you can bring extra seating just in case.\nOur Friday night “Rocktoberfest Concert” will kick off a weekend that includes the Somers Point Historical Society’s “Horsepower by the Bay“ classic car\, classic boat\, and hot rod show\, 10 – 3 PM on our historic Bayfront\, Harbor Lane and Bay Avenue. \n
