Gypsy Jazz with The Richard Sheppard Trio

Wrapping up Friday, April 12 is Gypsy Jazz with The Richard Sheppard Trio at Clancy’s by the Bay, 101 East Maryland Ave, from 7:30-9 p.m. Gypsy Jazz was very popular in Paris during the 1920’s, 1930’s, and 1940’s and the music is rhythmic, vigorous, passionate and elegant. This ensemble is a super force of hot acoustic Gypsy inspired music mixing Flamenco, Bebop and Jazz swing influences. This event is free to attend – donations are appreciated.
